Maintenance

Lawrence Landscape provides a full line of irrigation maintenance including Spring turn on & backflow text, Irrigation System repairs, and Irrigation winterizations.

  • Spring Turn on

At Lawrence Landscape, Spring Turn on consists of turning on the water source, running thru each irrigation zone with a remote controller, looking for leaks and other problems.

If the customer has an authorized repair limit, we'll fix any problems keeping in mind the customers wishes, thereby eliminating an extra service call.  While on site, Lawrence Landscape will also test the backflow prevention device as required by the City of Lawrence, and file all the paperwork with them so our customers stay in compliance.  We'll also leave notification so the homeowner will know the services have been completed.

  • Irrigation System Repairs

Lawrence Landscape has a staffed office from 7am-5pm Monday thru Friday to take your irrigation service calls.  We have at least 1 full time irrigation service tech driving a fully stocked service truck being dispatched by the office.  Most repairs are completed within 2 business days of your call.  Our trained irrigation service techs are also state certified backflow prevention device testers thereby saving our customers time & money.  Lawrence Landscapes' irrigation service techs can also increase an older systems efficiency by installing rain sensors, freeze sensors and ET mini weather stations and eliminating unnecessary watering and saving our customers money.

  • Irrigation Winterization

At Lawrence Landscape Winterizations are guaranteed against freeze damage, as long as we do the turn on in the spring.  Winterizations start happening a week before Halloween for people with above ground backflow preventers.

The process start with a Lawrence Landscape service tech arriving with a large jackhammer air compressor.  We shut off the water supply to the irrigation system, then after hooking up the air, we use our remote controller allowing us to turn on each zone individually to purge it of water.  Our service tech will note any obvious problems with the system, examples include: clogged nozzles, broken heads, and zone valves not responding.  This gives the homeowner an idea of how their system is functioning and if they want repairs completed at the spring turn on.  A notice will be left that the service has been completed so they have peace of mind.
